You're a solid capper that (at least from what I've seen) seems to do well in WNBA and all of your big plays regardless of sport.. This one was rough.. Up 14 midway through the 4th, then an epic collapse... Double OT, and even after it all, Maya Moore at the charity stripe for the win- 88%.. Clanks a free throw. Ouch. I'm sure you'll get it back and hopefully I'll see your next big WNBA play to be right there with you again when you do. GL going forward.
Donkwins47 - I have actually had season tickets to the Lynx with my wife and daughter for the past four years so I'm more than just being from Minnesota.
This was a tough one as they took Maya out with 8+ minutes left in the 4th with a 14 pt lead and she was on fire. Reeve wanted to rest her for the stretch and when she came back in she hardly touched the ball and the rest of the team couldn't make a basket. Brunson was solid in her return but this was one of the most physical games I've seen and she was gased at the end but contributed 17 pts and 12 boards. Meanwhile, I turned to my wife and told her we needed both of these FT. Then with Maya on the line with 1.1 seconds left, she'd made 8 of 9 to this point, and she kept her .89% free throw average by clanking the first and making the second.
I was going to play the over as well but thought that Brunson might clog the middle and pull down so many boards she would keep Atlanta from scoring, they're 4th in the league. Well, I over thought that one. Mn is #2 in scoring and all of the defensive boards led to more fast break opportunities. This was an easy over, not just because of OT but the entire game. Hind sight is always 20 20.
